Last night we went to the woods and climbed into our buddy stand, that a friend of ours bought for her and put up on his land for her.
Around 7pm 5 deer came trotting past us out of range. Then about 7:20 a deer came in from behind us. I told Alexis not to move and...
Deer were moving well this evening saw 7. Even saw a small buck chasing a doe about 4pm.
This BIG ole doe didn't make it...dropped here in her tracks. :D
I thought this buck had a scar on his face...but...it turned out to be white patch of hair.
Never saw one like this before. I shot him last night at a distance of 104yds...he dropped in his tracks.
Our muzzleloader season ends this Friday...so I went deer hunting this evening in hope of filling another tag or two or three.
We are trying to fill our freezers with venison as we do every year...but today I came home with HAM and BACON! :D
Alexis had some of these this weekend while hunting also. :D
This was Sunday when it was 80 degrees...I bent down a tree limb and draped my shirt over it to give her some shade while she napped.

After spending the weekend in Kentucky for their rifle opener...Alexis chose to kill this buck on the last hour of the last day of her hunt.

Saturday when she killed the 4pt...was the first time I had ever gotten her to shoot a muzzleloader.
This evening she smoked this little doe in our food plot at 67 yards. She was very excited and smacking the ^5's.
