Guidance on choosing a new barrel or new rifle

If I wanted a threaded muzzle for hunting suppressed I would go carbon barrel - as you retain sufficient thickness for threading with out a weight penalty. If I wasn't threading, I would view a thin fluted barrel vs carbon barrel as a toss up choice. I have lightweight rifles in both form...

    hydrogen power?

There are pros and cons of a "hydrogen economy" and I hope we continue to investigate agressively (and go gen4/5 nuke go), but these yahoos are not the answer. And 80% of their babble comes from late night infomercial speak. I guarantee they have not captured H2 at a rate higher than "ever in...

    hydrogen power?

The whole thing makes no sense. He doesn't account for the energy losses across the various state conversions, this type of retrofitting in the real world probably would cost more than new build, there are so many problems with it I can't even bring myself to go through problem by problem. It...

    Arbitrary Hunting Goals

When I was in my twenties and thirties I had this tendency to live life like a checklist - things to get done, goals to be met. As a result I got a lot done, but even the fun things ended up feeling like work or just getting sh*t done - it reduced the joy associated with the activities and...

    Seating Depth Increments?

When I’ve done it I have done it in 0.015 increments - but found it more trouble than it was worth. Difference where too close give the statistics of 5 shot groups. Not needed for hunting accuracy- and a moving target for range volume given throat erosion.

    Gettysburg

Nah - it was your point to use those terms. I only referred to those who took up arms against their nation and many against their own sworn oaths. I never used the labels - just pointed to individuals and their actions. North and South are merely points on a compass. The CSA is a long since...
