It would probably be my toughest hunting call... Right now, I would say no, but four months from now I might ask my buddy to hold onto my bullets, just in case... 😬
I'm on my second set of KO2s, love them. Overall good tire for the mix of pavement/gravel/trail driving I do.
Better performance in snow and mud would be a definite plus. Not due yet for another set so that'll give some guys time to review them before I look into changing the set I'm running.
Didn't know much about it, other than it was very restrictive for non-residents unless they went with a guide $$$. Until I met a guy from the Yukon who offered to act as my special guide for the hunt.
Going to grab my small game and fishing license, too! Can't wait!!!
SUCCESFUL!!!
My Yukon resident sponsor called to let me know that we've drawn a Caribou/Moose special guide license. This is a license where a Canadian non-Yukon resident can apply for with a resident sponsor.
To say that I'm happy is an understatement! I never thought I'd get the chance to...
The older a bait site is, the better. Bears will keep coming year after year as long as you keep baiting.
It sounds like you already have a lot of scent dispersed in the area and you may just have lower bear densities or other baits sites might be competing with yours. Every spring, when I...
Y'all are just hating. Think of all the "wannabe Cam Haines hiking with a dead golden retriever/small sow on your back" content these guys generated!!!
Do you think the Canadian Government would show more empathy and greater leadership in this situation?
While it 100% sucks for them, this is 100% their fault. Complacency kills or in this case, may lead to 12 years in jail. You are responsible for your firearms and its ammunition.
I don't...
Sucks for them but if anything, it just reiterates the importance of going over your sh*t before a trip. I personally don't use hunting or work gear (Army) when traveling for leisure because of that. It's one thing to have misplaced ammo found on my way to a hunting destination or traces of RDX...
Curious if you listened to the whole podcast? They both repeated numerous times their overall support for the org and raised their discontent towards R3 being a big part of BHA in comparison to other agenda items like conservation and access.
Both are members of BHA, so I believe it's pretty...
I listened to the Hunt Quietly BHA podcast yesterday. First of all, any org that cannot be challenged/questioned isn't worth my time.
I feel like the podcast raised some reasonable questions and valid points.
They also were very vocal about supporting BHA and I felt that at no point they were...
I've lost count of alcohol related issues I've had to deal with while being in the army. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've had to deal with my guys when it comes to weed though and most times it was getting caught with it before it was legal or getting a DUI after a roadside THC...
