    Insert Installation Tips?

In hindsight I think that might be easier, but the arrows I have are already fletched so I'm trying to not have to refletch them.

    Insert Installation Tips?

I already said I was using that in the very first post. Any other tips?

    Insert Installation Tips?

Thanks for this statement. This was an issue before I spent quite a bit of time tuning my bow. I had three arrows that lined up correctly so I just used those exclusively when shooting broadheads. I haven't tried any of the other arrows since except with field points. I might try the others with...

    Insert Installation Tips?

I'm sorry howl, but I'm not sure what this means. Can you elaborate? (In my brief 4 years of archery experience.) I have always just grabbed whatever glue was on sale at the sporting goods store. However, I've normally kept my shots to 30 yards or less, so the alignment hasn't matter as much...

Hahahaha I love that it beeped out c0.ck vane. Gotta keep it family friendly!

    Insert Installation Tips?

Howdy Everyone! Last fall I realized my arrows shoot best when my broad heads are aligned with the @#)(# vane of my arrow. I'm currently installing inserts with my broad head screwed in to help visually get the correct alignment, but I'm having a hard time getting them lined up before the glue...

Ditty Bags for Misc Items Organization

There are a ton of small mom and pop internet store on etsy. I scored some great dyneema ditty bags for pretty cheap on there and I could pick the color. Sometimes if a store is trying to gain traction or sales are slow they'll have a good coupon.

Help! I can't get my lab to stop digging!

Meh, she's nearly killed my wife's dog...twice. I will say my wife's dog was asking for it though hahaha. Not a fun vet bill....

Help! I can't get my lab to stop digging!

Just as the title says I can't get my 1.5 yr old lab to stop digging. She'll go a few days (sometimes even a week or two) without digging, but then if I leave her in the yard for an hour unsupervised she starts at it again. Sometimes even after a walk or training session when I know it's not...

Is it irresponsible to NOT buy it?

I thought the same thing, but unfortunately I don't see it getting much cheaper. I actually found it about $100-150 cheaper at my local gun shop vs anywhere online.

Is it irresponsible to NOT buy it?

Well, it goes bang, and is a ton of fun to shoot! Ended up getting 3 hogs that afternoon. Thanks to all who helped me make bad...errr...good choices haha!

    Texas public land?

I second this. I dabble in public land hunting in TX, but my main efforts are currently focused on out of state hunts. It's sad to say, but I can have a better hunt for less money.

    Texas public land?

Public is doable, but pretty rough. You'll have better access to public land in the DFW area than in some other areas of the state. Don't forget to check for Army Corps of Engineer opportunities as well. Some of those are not listed on the TPWD website. The draw hunts can be great when you draw...

Jungle Blanket or Down Blanket for Warm Scouting Trips

I bought it and love that thing! I got the XL version, and use it all the time on any trip above 40-45F. It's pretty much my go to on scouting trips in the summer.
