How to Red Rocks Concert
My wife went to one of the hillbilly concerts and ended up with a totaled BMW due to a hail event. Thankfully the damage doesn't bother her so she took the $$$$$$ and kept driving. She has been a few times and enjoyed it, nothing has tempted me yet.- SFC B

Rimfire Rifle Recommendations
You mentioned the top three I would have suggested. If you want something classy a 457 Luxe is my pick. If I have grandkids that is what they will get. The open sights with the ramp are very good. I don't think you can wrong with any of the 3. Pick your set up and enjoy. -

I just got back from a cross country road trip retrieving the Hunting Princess from college. While I was gone SOMETHING came in for me at work....... I will pick it up Sunday.....until then I will accept guesses on the latest object of my insanity ;) -
Broke down today
I have the Varmint version in a MDT XRS chassis and it loves the 55 gr VMaxs.....I have a Viper PST 5x25 on it and it is lights out a shooter. I dialed the trigger all the way down when I had the action out and just love the set up. So far only P dogs have felt the wrath ;) Here are a couple pics -

2023 Deer hunting Recap (MT, KY, IN)
Congrats on the season and the little one. What part of IN (home for me as well) do you hunt? I hunt Cass County thanks to Redman. Nothing beats being in the IN hardwoods in the fall for me. -

I would agree that legislative restriction is the appropriate approach and this particular lawsuit is flawed. I believe states (voters) should restrict these F&W officials access to private property to AT LEAST reasonable suspicion, if not probable cause. Violating property rights "just...- SFC B

There is a new "show" in town (Denver)
Went today with CPO and met Abe first thing right at the entrance. Had a good chat for a few minutes about the show, guns and other fun stuff. Also ran into MtnElk at the RMBS booth out of the blue (to me ;) ) which was a bonus. Everything about this show was much better than the Denver...- SFC B

I think you guys are SERIOUSLY missing the point. Goodwill et al don't have thrift shop operations to sell the stuff they get donated to the folks "in need". They run those stores to make money to FUND the programs they run for the folks you are thinking of. Goodwill, ARC, Salvation Army all...- SFC B

Selling guns at Scheels!!! I only average about 10 hours a week but make better than expected $$$ which helps me (especially when combined with the deals/discounts) not feel bad at all for spending on hunting/guns/trips and maybe a new motorcycle this year....maybe. Best part is getting paid...- SFC B
