8 years after back injury
Sorry to hear about your back. Adapt and overcome. I think the Excalibur is a good choice. Simple design. I have had the Matrix 380 for about 12 years. It has accounted for dozens of deer. If needed you can change out string and limbs yourself… even if on a trip somewhere. I keep spare parts...- F250

Canadian Wild Hogs?
Farmer where I stay for waterfowl has shot a couple big ugly Russian Boar types. Central Parkland region. Really did a number on his crops. Amazing they can survive those -35F temps !!!- F250

Arbitrary Hunting Goals
Nope. Just enjoy the outdoors, enjoy the different habitats, enjoy sharing hunts with friends and family, enjoy the meat each animal taken provides. For me… no goals and no tape measures. But that’s just me. Each hunter has the opportunity to find his own way of doing things.- F250

Suck for these people.
We crossed into Quebec a couple weeks ago to go out for dinner (the closest restaurant to us). At the Canadian Customs we were pulled over for a random secondary inspection ( normal procedure… maybe every 50th car or so). My wife remembered she had her pepper spray in her purse.
