    Catch All Fishing Thread

Looking forward to some high mountain fishing in the coming weeks. Did get out Friday to a place known for good cutts and rainbows. Was pretty slow but decent quality.

    2024 Utah Draw Results

Good for you. I wasn't complaining; it is what I was expecting. I am not too concerned about hunting Utah every year. There is a place I want to hunt, so I put in for that tag. I'll be hunting two other states this fall, so that's probably why I am not too concerned about it as well. Good luck.

    2024 Utah Draw Results

No luck for me, which is pretty much what I figured, based on the odds. Next year is looking better for a mediocre archery tag in a place I like to backpack and fish, but I'll also get to take my bow along for the ride.

Well, it's not good. Not religious but prayers are welcomed.

So sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family, especially as you get through the potentially hectic and difficult next several days. I join with others in expressing admiration for your commitment, caring, and devotion as a husband. The fact that you don't see your efforts as...

    Turkeys!!! Let’s see them!

Utah bird. Legs and thighs make for some tasty birria tacos.

    Mallards

I had a pair using my above ground pool last Spring. To be fair, it needed to be cleaned after the fall and winter, so it kind of makes sense.

    2024 Turkey Season!

Turkey showed up in my neighborhood this week. That's a first. Then, last night, it roosted in my backyard. Season is a few weeks away. It's like these birds are surveiling me, messing with my mind for doing the same to them. Well played, turkeys, well played...

    Who bought this?

Barf! $20 says Bowmar is involved, perhaps cosplaying one of the Seals.

    Hunt Expo

It is it's own weird form of cosplay. Maybe that's why people are in full camo with packs. #HuntLarping

Hunter Nation seeking more UT General Fund appropriations for wolves

Gross. The political scene in Utah is especially sleezy.

    Deer - lets see em

That's a stomper, especially with archery gear!

    FS: Steripen Ultralight

Can't remember just how I got this but it's just been sitting in my gear box unused. I've charged it and gave it a test run in my kitchen but that's it. This is the UL rechargeable model with the Red Cross branding. Comes in original packaging. $50 tyd, ConUs only, please.

    FS: Quick-Stix from Wiser Precision

I have a set of Quick-Stix from Wiser Precision for sale. Very lightly used. These don't fit on my BD z-lite poles because those poles are UL and very thin, and I don't want to get a different set of trekking poles just for this accessory. They do fit your standard trekking poles with no issues...
