I hunted elk with a guy from south Arizona that had pics of 2 jags treed about 30yrds apart in cactus. And couple more bayed up in some rocks.- treedagain

The ram in question, whenever she asks what I want for birthday/Christmas/Anniversary/whatever, I just point at my life size ram on the wall and say swarovski and leave it at that.- treedagain

Plenty of time to even the scale with her. Send her away for a girls weekend, spa/resort whatever. My wife would push me out the door and say have at it, she would know I would spend the next 50yrs making up for it. I would want to be married to someone who would not understand what the tag is and why it is important to do it justice. To go and just shoot a ram to be done is pretty stupid. Deer? Elk? Depends on where Maybe but not a ram.- treedagain

Who wants to shoot a Marco Polo sheep in Montana?
Maybe I am off my rocker.....but I think it is pretty innovative to to have done that. Shooting a caged ram no. Turn some loose with the Ibex in NM? How cool that would be? Talk about a once in a lifetime combo hunt.- treedagain
