    Mother’s Day Gifts?

    When our boys were little we used to get up early and leave the house on Mothers day. Usually went fishing for at least half the day. Gave mom sleep in and quiet time. We would bring food and flowers when we came home.

    Hunting SUV

    I hunted out of an 86 jeep Cherokee for years. Slept in the back with seats down. Thing would go anywhere. Dead critters went on top most of the time.

    TBH that is what I was expecting but it was much better than that. Cooked just above rare. Very good. Only complaint is they were so small!

    Worst plated picture ever but these were lamb chops. We are in beef country and I don’t think I have ever had them but a neighbor raised some so we got one. Pretty damned good! Much better than expected. Supplemented with our pork!

    Kids came over for dinner last night. Did some chicken street tacos and I smoked some queso to accompany.

    I worked with her for a number of years. She is an excellent lawyer and will be a great judge. Even a better person.

    50/50 Raffle

    I won it once when my son was playing college ball. It was a home game, small school. I donated it all back. Wasn’t that much. Relative won at Cat game once. Like 12k. He kept it all!
